The House introduces a global warming bill, but will Rehberg support it?

According to the League of Conservation Voters, Representative Henry Waxman (D-CA) has introduced a bill similar to the Senate's Global Warming Pollution Reduction Act (S. 309).

The Safe Climate Act (H.R. 1590) also establishes mechanisms to cut greenhouse gas emissions to levels 80% lower than in 1990 by 2050. The Waxman bill increases our Nation’s reliance on renewable energy and improved energy efficiency to achieve emissions reductions. HB 1590 also offers a "cap and trade" program that provides flexibility to help private corporations meet pollution reduction goals.
