Montana Public Service Commission
Members of the the Montana Public Service Commission (PSC) are elected to a four-year term from five districts throughout the state. The Chair and Vice Chairman are elected by the Commissioners. Every Montanan has one PSC representative based on the county in which they live.

PSC District 5: Commissioner Bill Gallagher (PSC Chairperson) Was a saw mill hand, mine mechanic and equipment operator in Dillon, MT before graduating from Western Montana College in 1983 with a BS in secondary education with a major in social sciences. |

PSC District 1: Commissioner Travis Kavulla Was elected in November 2010 by a 28-point margin, the largest of any Montana public service commissioner facing a contested election since the modern commission’s inception in 1974. |

PSC District 2: Commissioner Brad Molnar Assumed Commissionership January 3, 2005. Current term ends January 1, 2013. Born April 12, 1950 in Walkerton, Indiana. Attended U of M with a major in forestry. Served 4 terms in the state legislature. |

PSC District 3: Commissioner John Vincent Assumed Commissionership January 1, 2009. Current term ends December 31, 2012. John Vincent, a Democrat, was elected to the Montana Public Service Commission in 2008. |

PSC District 4: Commissioner Gail Gutsche Was elected to the Montana Public Service Commission in 2008. She is the second woman to be elected to the position. Her current PSC term ends January 2013. Gail served in the House from 1999-2005. |
