Gallatin Valley Land Trust Annual Meeting
Gallatin/Park | Land
03/22/2007 - 6:30pm to 8:00 pm
Find out more about community trails and land conservation by attending Gallatin Valley Land Trust’s Annual Meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 at The Emerson Cultural Center. The Annual Meeting offers the entire community a free opportunity to learn about GVLT, socialize with other conservation-minded individuals and hear from an inspirational speaker. This year’s speaker, Courtney White, columnist for New West News and Director of the Quivara Coalition in Santa Fe, will speak about the connection between conservation easements and land health. The Annual Meeting is free and open GVLT members and nonmembers alike.
In an effort to promote sustainable living, this year’s Annual Meeting “goes local” and will feature locally produced food along with raffle and silent auction items from local merchants and a cash bar. For information contact GVLT, 406-587-8404, www.gvlt.org
Many thanks to Bozeman Gastroenterology Clinic for helping to sponsor this event.
Gallatin Valley Land Trust is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the conservation of open space, agriculture land, wildlife habitat, and the creation of public trails in and around Gallatin County. Since our founding in 1990, GVLT has worked with over 60 families to conserve almost 28,000 acres of land and has partnered with many groups to expand the community trail system, which is now approaching the 50 mile mark.
