Future of Geothermal Energy Listening Session with Sen. Tester
I’d like to extend an invitation to join me next Tuesday, July 3rd, to participate in a listening session to discuss the future of geothermal energy. The listening session is open to the public. It will be held at Montana Tech in the Big Butte/Highlands Room (Student Union Building), between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
The discussion will involve all players in the geothermal energy community: scientists, hot springs owners/operators, entrepreneurs, regulatory experts, installation experts, energy buyers, and members of the conservation community active in groundwater issues.
As a member of the Senate Energy Committee, I hope to work with all involved to develop a policy direction to help shape Montana's energy production future and the development of this clean, abundant resource.
