The Blackfoot River Wildlife Management Area is one of east Idaho’s true gems. Don’t miss out on this chance to visit the Area and help improve the habitat for waterfowl, elk, deer, and other wild critters. Most folks show up on Friday night and make a weekend of it, staying at the old bunkhouse on the site. Enjoy great food and company as we participate in projects to protect and restore this fantastic piece of property. This year, Portneuf Valley Audubon will lead a bird walk at the WMA on Sunday morning. For more information, contact our Idaho Falls office at 208-522-7927.
Don’t forget to pack a rain jacket, bug spray, work gloves, water, lunch and a sleeping bag if you plan on staying the night at the Blackfoot River WMA.
