Regular Voter Registration Period Closes - Late Voter Registration Opens

August 13: Date of the close of regular voter registration in the September 11 primary election (if one is held in your municipality). 

NOTE: If you miss this deadline, you may still register by showing up at the local election office up to and including on Election Day, filling out and submitting a voter registration card, and voting a ballot that you give to the election office staff. 

Between noon and the close of business on the day before Election Day, you can drop off a voter registration card, but you will need to return to the local election office on Election Day to pick up and vote a ballot.
