Papoose Creek Trail in the southern Madison Valley winds its way along a classic Rocky Mountain stream into the Lee Metcalf Wilderness of the Madison range.  This 16 mile roundtrip hike will take us into the high alpine country that surrounds Cradle Lakes.  The return hike will afford us incredible views of the Sun Ranch, the Madison Valley and the neighboring Gravelly and Centennial mountain ranges. Bring your lunch, warm clothes, rain gear and plenty of water.  This hike is designed for those with hiking experience.  For more information, or to register, call Barb at 406-586-1593 or email rsvp@greateryellowstone.org.
