Join the Gallatin Grassroots Forum and NewWest.Net for the first in a series of community conversations titled, Shaping the Future of the Valley: Our Growing Challenge, at 7pm on September 12th at the Museum of the Rockies.

The evening's panel will consist of community members and specialists that will discuss issues that are essential to our valley:   agriculture, Walt Sales, Gallatin Valley Farmer; community design & growth management, Ralph Johnson, MSU architecture professor; housing & real estate, Andy Epple, City of Bozeman's Director of Planning and Zoning; water & air quality, State Rep. JP Pomnichowski, HD 63; economic vitality, Joe Marlow, Sonoran Institute.
 
The focus of the evening will be to briefly present each of the issues, discuss how growth impacts them and how they interrelate and shape the future of our community.   There will be an open discussion with the public and information will be given about how to get involved with community plans, upcoming city and county meetings, and more.

NewWest.Net and the Gallatin Grassroots Forum is presenting the Gallatin Valley Speaker Series in order to generate ideas, facilitate informed conversation and provide information to the community to help it successfully manage change and growth. This is the first of a series.

GGF is a citizen-lead initiative that envisions a Gallatin Valley where citizens have a voice in how their communities grow and have tools to make informed decisions about their future.
