Hunting and fishing - our opportunities, our game, and the habitats needed to sustain them and our heritage are all facing many threats and challenges– the list is long and the stakes are high!

How are hunters and anglers going to respond to increased commercialization, privatization, the loss of access, outfitter set-asides, public land management, maintaining instream flows, devaluing the benefits of the non-guided everyday sportsperson, habitat loss due to inadequate planning, new fish and game management proposals, and of course – proposals at the 2009 legislature that may attempt to diminish opportunities for everyday hunters and anglers or disconnect us from the resources we have built over the past 100 years.

There is a tremendous need for hunters and anglers to come together, share our thoughts, concerns, strategies and vision for our future. Montana Wildlife Federation is deeply concerned with these issues and equally concerned about hunters and anglers working together. Montana Wildlife Federation (MWF) is also offering ten vendor tables, in the lobby of the Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel for MWF’s 73rd Annual Meetings and Fundraising Banquet and Auctions on April 19, 2008. MWF isan organization of conservation minded people who share a mission to protect and enhance Montana’s public wildlife, lands, waters and fair chase hunting and fishing heritage.

Vendor tables are only $10 per six foot table and are offered on a first come first served basis. Vendors may display merchandise or do demonstrations of interest to hunters and anglers. No sales please.
