Green Home Living Panel Discussion

Green Home Living Events is presenting a two part panel on Saturday October 25 at the Hamilton City Hall, 223 Second Street, Hamilton, at 7pm. 

The first panel will discuss "How to Build Green Homes".  Speakers include local builders and designer Lee Kierig, Ran Pigman of Pigman Builders, Ray Tipton of Big Sky Builders and Paul Wilson of Tamarack Builders.  These gentlemen will share their experience with green building techniques and materials.  There will be a half hour for audience questions and participation.

The second panel will then cover "Growing Green Jobs". Speakers on this panel have businesses and interests in the recycling, conservation and sustainability industries.  These gentleman are Sonny LaSalle, Rick Wishcamper of Sustainable Living Center, Mark Hammond of Ravalli Services and Matt Heisel of Home Resources.  They will talk about how their green oriented work creates more jobs while improving the well being of people and the planet. At the end of this panel there will be a half hour for discussion with the audience.

Dave Schultz is the moderator.  This event is co-sponsored by Vicky Bohlig of Green Path Properties and Bitter Root RC&D. Graphic design was donated by Sarah Monson.

A donation of $3 at the door will be greatly appreciated for helping defray costs.

The Green Home Living Expo, scheduled for Saturday November 1, has been cancelled due to financial constraints.

Living Green means conserving energy, heat, resources and money; using energy efficiently, sustainably, and from renewable sources; recycling & reusing materials and goods; and living healthy and toxin-free lives that are friendly to people and the earth.
