MCVEF's Congressional Watch, updated monthly, serves to inform the public of the votes and actions of Montana’s congressional delegation - Senator Max Baucus, Senator Jon Tester and Congressman Denny Rehberg – that affect Montana’s air, water, public health, wildlife, forests and public lands. It has five components.
- “How They Voted”: Summarizes key votes cast by the Montana Congressional delegation on issues that are identified as priorities by Montana’s conservation and environmental community. This section also links you to the groups that are working on the particular measures.
- “Actions and Opinion”: Features non-voting actions of the Montana Congressional delegation affecting the environment, such as hearings, public statements, and bills introduced, that are important this state’s conservation and environmental community
- How to contact the Montana Congressional Delegation – in Washington and here in Montana.
- “What’s on the Horizon”: A preview of upcoming votes and actions that Montana conservation organizations are tracking in Congress.
- Campaign Contributions: This links to organizations that track and report on financial contributions to the Montana Congressional delegation, using Federal Election Commission Reports.
