Watch for wildflowers and wildlife on a Wednesday walk. July 14 at 5:30pm, naturalist Carolyn Sevier of Rim Country Land Institute will lead an evening encounter with the beauty of a prairie summer. Participants will learn about the flora, fauna, and landscape of the Northern Great Plains on an interpretive walk at Cove Canyon Grasslands, a 3,000 acre preserve 6 miles from Billings. Evening walk is held every other Wednesday through September. All ages welcome, dress for weather. $8/person, $5/child. Family and season pass available. Meet at 5:30 at Rocky Mountain College for carpool. Reservations suggested.
